So, I’ve been having a really bad last few days. I mentioned in a different post that our A/C went out. Well, they came yesterday to fix it and basically couldn’t do ANYTHING because our A/C unit was practically frozen and needed to be defrosted. It has been 85-90 degrees in our home since last Friday, with it being in triple digits every single day outside.
PREGNANCY + HEAT = NO BUENO
I tried to tough it out for 4 days…I really did! But when the A/C guy came over yesterday, I just about had it. You could tell he wasn’t trying to help us and wanted to rush out of there because they were “really busy” and had other appointments to deal with. He didn’t even want us to reschedule a return appointment for when the A/C unit was defrosted! Long story short, after he left, RJ came home from work and we sat down for dinner. I just started crying because I was SO HOT. He felt so bad for me, he told me to get in the car so we can go hunting for a room A/C in the mean time. Of course, we had no luck…they were sold out everywhere! But I was just happy we could sit in the car for some A/C, LOL!
When we got back home, I don’t know what RJ did but he freaking made magic happen y’all! He was outside working on the A/C…did something to our furnace, and voila! Our A/C started working again! I could finally get a breath of fresh air…inside my house! But that’s not even half of it you guys…
So, apparently, a couple weeks back he had secretly bought me something as a surprise “just because”…and it couldn’t have come at a better time! The doorbell rings and his package arrives. It’s an Amethyst ring from Moon Magic Jewelry! For those who don’t know, I wanted to become more spiritual this year and I started getting into different types of stones and crystals. Amethysts are known for Tranquility, Calmness and Patience…exactly what I needed at the moment. Do you see how the universe works? Talk about timing! I love this ring so much, I literally took off my diamond wedding ring and replaced it with this one!
I am so thankful for my husband and these little moments. He always knows how to fix my days and I don’t know what I’d do without him!
