You guys, I am dying in this heat as I type this! The Bay Area has been experiencing a heat wave for the last 3-4 days. Temperatures have been in the triple digits and according to the weather app on my iPhone, it’s expected to last another 9 days! – and that’s only because I can see 9 days out on the weather app…it will probably go on longer.
To make matters worse, something is wrong with our A/C at home. It hasn’t been cooling down our house AT ALL. In the morning, it’s about 85 degrees inside…I can sometimes get it down to about 80 degrees if we’re lucky by turning on all of our fans. By the evening, it’s 90 degrees inside our house (and 105 outside!). I’ve already put in a call to our Home Warranty so someone is supposed to come today (FINALLY!). Let’s cross our fingers it’ll be fixed! I really hope they won’t have to “order a part and come back”.
Being pregnant in the summer time is NOT FUN. LOL, don’t get me wrong, I am thankful to be expecting…but this is my second pregnancy during the summer and I hate it BOTH TIMES. I’m extra hot on a normal day, so in this heat, I’m just miserable. I really hope we can get this fixed soon.
Anyway! In order to beat the heat, we went to a water park yesterday! I was a little nervous because we really haven’t gone anywhere due to COVID, but like I said, I’m literally dying in this heat so we needed to do something. It turned out ok and the kids had a lot of fun! We spent most of our time in the wave pool. They would set the waves off every 5 minutes for about 1-2min at a time. The kids went wild!
